Teaching Assistant(s)

The Department invites applications for the Teaching Assistant post for the Sports Medicine Team. Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree in athletic training, healthcare or sports-related disciplines, preferably with some athletic training or teaching experience; (ii) a good command of spoken and written English; and (iii) a strong sense of responsibility.

Duties include assisting in (a) coordination of academic activities; (b) preparation of course materials/classes, student consultation/supervision; (c) providing athletic training services to University sports team; (d) promoting the advancement of sports medicine through services to the profession/industry and the community; and (e) undertaking other academic and administrative activities as assigned. Working beyond office hours or at weekends will be required.

The appointee will station at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
