Responsibilities:

• Liaise with Senior Management to maintain and enhance appropriate and effective systems in respect of Occupational Safety & Health (OHS)
• Provide guidance and direction for planning, implementation and operation of Safety Management System (SMS)
• Review and ensure the SMS suitability, adequacy and effectiveness
• Conduct, promote and improve Operational and Occupational Safety and Risk Management Programs through the implementation of effective and appropriate safety initiatives & strategies
• Monitor daily activities in compliance with the Hong Kong, and other international legislations, with respect to OHS
• Conduct accident/incident investigation and propose remedial action
• Prepare safety-related documentation
• Provide safety advice and internal training

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above with 2-3 years of related experience in OSH control, site safety inspection, auditing, training and supervision in food industry or equivalent experience
• Hands-on experience in handling site accidents and prosecution cases
• Candidates with less experience and not yet registered as safety officer from Labour Department will be considered as Safety Supervisor
• With work experience in chain store or FMCG or is preferable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Good team player with strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated and independent
