In addition to managing hardware, software, and systems integration, would lead the development and deployment of innovative IT solutions, including CMIS, SMS, and e- payment platforms, etc. while driving performance optimization and digital transformation initiatives in collaboration with HA and UCN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the strategic direction of IT operations across The CUHK Chinese Medicine Clinic cum Training and Research Centre - Tai Po District (TPCM) . Ensure alignment of IT functions with goals and objectives.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of all IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for Chinese Medicine Division.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the Hospital Authority (HA) and other key stakeholders to drive the optimization and advancement of IT solutions, including system development and digital transformation projects.
  • Oversee the procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management of IT assets. Ensure efficient allocation of resources, hardware, and software to meet operational demands.
  • Spearhead the development and integration of critical systems such as CMIS, SMS, and e-payment platforms, ensuring innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and patient service delivery.
  • Establish IT governance frameworks and ensure all systems and processes adhere to regulatory standards and guidelines.
  • Ensure robust and secure network and Wi-Fi infrastructure across all facilities; manage upgrades, expansions, and troubleshooting of connectivity issues.
  • Lead ongoing performance assessments, system upgrades, and maintenance to ensure the longevity and efficiency of IT operations.
  • Handle any duties as assigned.
  • Handle IT-related issues across the UCN organization.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • More than 7 years experiences in IT operations, in which at least 2 years of progressive IT management experience.
  • Strong knowledge on operating systems (Windows/Mac/Linux/iOS/Android), networking (LAN/WAN/WiFi/Switch/Router/UPS), communication (Firewall/VPN/SD-WAN/Broadband),database (MSSQL, MYSQL) server management (virtualisation/NAS) and Web (Domain/DNS/FTP/SSL)
  • Hands-on experience in VMware, Veeam, Arcserve, Adobe products, Azure and AWS cloud service solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, SQL Server, Exchange Server, .NET programming and Active Directory.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Working location: Tai Po and Tseung Kwan O
