Manage and control railway inventory items for rolling stock, infrastructure, system-wide or station-based equipment to achieve an optimum balance between stock fulfillment, delivery and stockholding
Analyze, monitor and control the quality and growth of Railway Inventory
Work with stakeholders/users on demand and supply forecast
Implement and monitor supply chain and inventory solutions/systems/improvement for ensuring railway service quality and continuity/sustainability
Perform just-in-time delivery scheduling and effective demand forecasting to maintain quality and continuity of spares supply
Collaborate with stakeholders/users to enhance supply chain efficiency while maintaining check and balance
Requirements
Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Supply Chain Management / Logistics and Transport or a related discipline
A minimum of 5 years’ inventory and supply chain experience, preferably gained in a transport-related environment
Good command of both written and spoken English
Be conversant with modern inventory control techniques and systems, preferably with sound technical and/or engineering knowledge
Remarks
Working locations include office buildings and depot logistics centres (subject to operational needs)
