Overall Purpose of Accounts & Administrative Officer “AAO”:

We are looking for an Accounts & Administrative Officer will take charge of updating the financial transactions of both Metta and We Are Social (HK) to reflect a truth and fair financial position and to meet legal requirements. The incumbent will also responsible to keep the HK office running smoothly by overseeing administrative functions.

Your Key Responsibilities will include: -

  1. Finance:
  • Updating of general ledger, accounts receivables, accounts payables and assets register;
  • Issuing invoices and debt collection, updating of payment from clients;
  • Input of vendor/supplier’s invoices, listing expected payment to suppliers for subsequent month, issuing payments to vendor/supplier for invoices due and updating of payment details in the accounting system;
  • Handling employee expense reimbursement;
  • Preparation of reconciliation of bank statements and follow up;
  • Conducting financial reports and analysis for management review, and
  • Organising financial documents filing for easy retrieval
  1. Office Administration:
  • Supporting day to day general office administration to ensure smooth office operation;
  • Office Relocation, review tenancy agreement and liaise with building management office and other service providers (e.g. Internet, printing) in the areas of maintenance and general services;
  • Communicating with regional offices for contractual matters;
  • Office insurance arrangement and renewal; 
  • Maintaining stock of office supplies and placing orders when necessary;
  • Organize company events and staff activities;
  • Mailing and courier arrangement, managing phone calls and correspondence (email, letters, packages etc), and
  • Perform admin related duties and ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor

You should have:-

  • Diploma or above in Finance or related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience;
  • LCCI Accounting Level 2 or above;
  • Experience of working in advertising agency is preferred but not a must;
  • A self-starter with excellent accuracy and capability of multi-tasking;
  • Good organizational and time management abilities;
  • Strong decision-making skills and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to handle confidential information;
  • Proficiency in business computer skills and familiar with Accounting System;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin); and
  • Immediate Available is highly preferable
