Our clients are from leading bank, looking for a Security Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing information security function in Hong Kong. This role offers the chance to manage day to day information security operations and maintain information security policies or standards to fulfill business needs.

(Senior) Security Engineer / Consultant  (Banking & Financial Service)

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the implementation of security solutions and infrastructure collaborating with internal teams and external service providers.
• Execute security operation procedures in accordance with the corporate information security policy and guidelines when required. 
• Review and make recommendation on using of Open Source Software (OSS) and freeware
• Monitor and analyze security events for detection, investigation and response to potential security issues. 
• Participate in the implementation of security solutions and infrastructure collaborating with internal teams and external service providers.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
   

Requirements: 

• Diploma or Degree holder in information technology, information security or related discipline
• At least 2 years of experience in information security or related field.
• Working experience in security operation, performing security administration and risk treatment.
• Experience and knowledge in public / private cloud security is an advantage
• Preferable knowledge in risk management and methodology.
• Knowledge in ISO27001 is a plus.
• Professional qualifications (CISA, CISSP, CEH) would be advantage BUT not a must.
• Good command in written and spoken Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
• Candidate from non-financial industries will also be considered
