Job Posting: Senior Management Role (Legal & Regulatory Sector)

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist senior leadership in overseeing the daily operations of the organization.
• Manage and implement policies, regulations, and strategic initiatives for the legal profession.
• Supervise various committees and departments , including education, compliance, and professional conduct .
• Liaise with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and legal organizations on legal and policy matters.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and maintain professional standards within the legal community.
• Oversee membership affairs, professional training programs, and continuing legal education .
• Represent the organization at public events, forums, and conferences .
• Support the development of legal reforms, advocacy efforts, and public policy recommendations .
• Assist in the overall governance, administration, and financial management of the organization.

Job Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer with at least 15 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in Hong Kong or other common law jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of legal practice, regulatory frameworks, and professional ethics in Hong Kong.
• Experience in legal policy development, compliance, and governance .
• Proven leadership and management experience , preferably in professional associations, regulatory bodies, or legal institutions .
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills .
• Strong command of English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin preferred) .
• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and manage high-level committees and projects .
• Experience working in the HKSAR government sector is a significant advantage.
