Role Introduction
Reports to: Head of Digital, Service Delivery, Cargo, People & Operations

The purpose of this role is to act as a trusted Business Partner to various departments, enable them to leverage data and technology and transform their products, services, processes, and decision-making and, achieve business outcomes such as service and operational excellence, deep insights, digital leadership, etc. This role will also lead the development of new platforms such as the digital voucher platform and manage the continuous development.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage the Digital Voucher Platform including platform development and enhancement, performance, analytics and governance. Engage with Business stakeholders to ensure their products are implemented smoothly
- Manage the Service Delivery, People, and Cargo digital roadmap and portfolio of transformation initiatives
- Lead and conduct workshops with various business units to identify opportunities/pain points and develop use cases to leverage new and existing digital technology that maximize service and operational excellence, productivity and efficiency. Share best practices to help business units adopt lean and agile mindset for digital transformation in day-to-day operations
- Build understanding across initiatives under different Digital streams to identify synergies and cross-team opportunities that enhance customer experience
- Form strong working relationships key stakeholders across business, IT and Digital departments to deliver proof of concepts/value with agreed priorities and business objectives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and with clear next steps
- Work closely with Digital Analytics team to ensure user requirements are captured, prioritised and delivered according to business needs and budget
- Provide leadership and direction to vendors on business opportunities/pain points and evaluate thoroughly to ensure their solutions and capabilities can add value to the business before we engage with them
- Stay abreast of emerging digital trends and innovation and identify potential use cases to drive business outcomes
- Coordinate Quarterly Digital Leadership Reviews with key departments to share progress, digital trends and new opportunities
- Develop and run the annual digital survey. Work with the business departments and IT to evaluate the results for further improvements
- Maintain and run Cargo data/analytics PVT to prioritize tasks for each sprint and review development progress
- Support Head of Digital in other projects as required
Requirements
- A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 7 years of working experience in Digital or IT with at least 3 years as a manager, preferably in areas such as digital transformation, business operations, service delivery, analytics
- Strong acumen in digital technologies, frameworks, and development approaches. Knowledge and previous experience in using AI, Automation, XR, etc. in digital solutions is an advantage
- Proven experience in leading digital initiatives, conducting workshops and delivering projects, with a solid understanding of the existing digital landscape, Lean and Cathay Agile within Cathay
- Record of strong stakeholder management and internal advocacy
- A great team player and a change agent with a digital mindset and the ability to inspire, build trust, and promote collaboration among stakeholders in IT, Digital, and business units
- Proactive, fast learner, independent, and passionate about digital leadership and excellence
- Ability to take ownership, be resourceful and decisive with excellent influencing, interpersonal, and project management skills
- Keeps abreast of the latest trends in technology
- Excellent people management skills and ability to lead teams from various disciplines
