Responsibilities

• Undertake design tasks and provide technical support for rolling stock electrical engineering on new trains procurement and innovation projects including project design and stakeholder management
• Participate in the design review, submission approval, testing & commissioning activities of new capital, operation and innovation projects
• Provide in-house design technical solutions for site-specific conditions and design changes
• Make recommendations to address technical problems of the existing system design and propose long term technical solutions

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant design experience, of which 2 years should be in design capacity
• Solid experience in rolling stock design and information technology is an advantage
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin

Remarks

• Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
• Occasional business travel and overseas assignment may be required
• Applicants with less experience may be considered for the position of Support Engineer
