We are a pioneer in the design, development, and manufacturing of advanced long-wave infrared heat sensors tailored for the mass markets. Coupled with AI software and analytics, our platform for remote heat sensing augments the functionality and utility of smart appliances, smart homes and city infrastructure -- from microwave ovens and HVAC systems, through baby and elderly care, to fire-hazard detection and more secure biometric identification. We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our team. In this role, you will engage directly with our B2B customers, assisting them in the design-in of our novel thermal imaging products. Your expertise will be crucial in developing optimal solutions that not only meet customer requirements but also drive their business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with customers to understand their product needs and provide tailored technical solution.
• Assist in the design-in process of our thermal imaging sensors, ensuring seamless integration into customer applications.
• Assist in the development and implementation of solutions that optimize the use of our products, enhancing customer satisfaction and business outcomes.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions to educate customers on our technology and its applications.
• Serve as a technical liaison between the engineering team and customers, conveying feedback and insights to drive product improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to product integration and application.
• Onsite visits to customers within China, occasionally other countries within Asia
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Understanding of electro-optical, and/or electro-thermal systems
• Proven experience in sensor technology (preferably imaging and IoT).
• Proficiency in programming languages – Python, C, Java.
• Strong problem-solving skills; ability to think critically under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building strong customer relationships.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
