Job Description

  • Follows defined standard operating procedures and datasheets with necessary supervision/support. Perform routine chemical tests (e.g. Food Contact Material Tests, Organic Chemical Test) as per role of assistant Chemist. Records and explains test results.
  • Builds simple test setups, handles sample preparations/ solutions.
  • Operates and maintains test instruments (e.g. GC/MS, LC/MS, UV-Vis) appropriately to measure and test samples.
  • Conduct equipment calibration process.
  • Examines customer samples and learns to operate appropriate tests for each case with support.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Chemistry or related disciplines including Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Organic/Inorganic Chemistry, but not limited to these disciplines only.
  • Candidate with experience of Food Contact Material Test is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully partner with Senior Chemist and other Laboratory Personnel to complete testing in a timely manner with high quality.
  • 0-2 years working experience in a testing laboratory, welcome fresh graduates to apply.
  • Effective communication skills, good command of English and Chinese.
  • Desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite is a must.
