Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager

M Moser Associates is an interior architecture firm specializing in the design and delivery of corporate offices and work support facilities. With 1000+ staff comprising architects, designers, engineers, technology specialists and construction managers, the firm serves a diverse clientele from 30 locations in Asia, the UK and USA.

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled MEP Project Engineer with 5-8 years of experience, specializing in corporate workplace projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the latest MEP design and project delivery software, capable of delivering innovative solutions, and adept at working in fast-paced environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Oversight: Monitor financial and technical tasks for overall design and build projects, including Builder's Work, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • Project Management: Assist in managing the overall project lifecycle from initiation to completion, including procurement, budgeting, site management, and ensuring compliance with contractual and statutory requirements.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including establishing RFP/tender requirements, evaluating proposals, conducting interviews, and providing recommendations.
  • Construction Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with contractual, statutory, and regulatory requirements, including building codes and safety standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between clients, stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and suppliers. Chair regular meetings to ensure the smooth flow of information and address any issues that arise.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all construction activities comply with legal, contractual, and technical standards. Prepare and present regular project status reports.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks during the project procurement and construction stages and develop cost-effective solutions to mitigate them.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in project management, particularly in commercial office and retail projects. Experience in managing tenders, procurement, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams is required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and project management tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
  • Membership in Chartered Engineer is an advantageous.
  • Proactive in identifying project risks and developing solutions to ensure the successful completion of projects.
