Campari Group has great ambitions in Asia, and Campari China will play an instrumental role in expanding the Group’s business in this continent. Focused on Mainland China, the company directly manages brand equity development through above and below the line initiatives and cooperates with local distributors who focus on the commercialization of the product portfolio with the trade and jointly plan with Campari China and execute targeted below the line actions, especially in the On-Premise channel.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible to design and execute market-specific sales plans, closely collaborating with distributors, to deliver all commercial targets (distribution, shipments and depletions volumes, net sales value, CAA&P and market share) for the region
- Develop new channels based on the company strategy
- Monitor forecasts /budgets/targets and depletions, in charge of AR
- Motivate and monitor distributors’ performance, conducting regular business reviews and market visits to establish and maintain effective business relationships with key customers
- Execute and monitor pricing strategies defined by company
- Monitor distributors’ execution of distribution and sales promotions plans
- Maintain and share detailed knowledge of the company's brands
- Continually monitor competitor activities and keep up-to-date with industry and market trends to ensure that Campari China has strategies in place to ensure our competitive edge in the marketplace
- Be proactive in prospecting potential T1 distributors and key outlets to help expand our distribution network
- Support off-trade and special channel strategy and negotiations where required
- Effectively and efficiently manage T&E to achieve optimal productivity in line with company guidelines and corporate policies
- Ensure responsible drinking is at the forefront of everything we do as a sales force and in our interactions with the trade and consumers.
Experience
- The role requires at least 3 years of experience in spirits sales and distributor management
- Solid experience within the Hong Kong market is a must.
- FMCG background, on / off premise, outlet management is a must
Skills
- Strong business acumen
- Excellent analytical, result-driven, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented and persuasive.
- Good presentation/selling skills
- IT proficiency (computer literate)
- Cantonese, English and Mandarin is a must
