About The Job

As an Operations Manager, you will be an ambassador of the Brand. You will take ownership to lead and coach your team, proactively foster the achievement of operational objectives and ensure that the highest level of Client experience is delivered through strong operational support. You will be responsible to recruit and build highly motivated teams, develop them to the next level and secure succession plans. You will represent the Brand values and demonstrate the Louis Vuitton altitudes toward Clients and team members.

Job responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Manage inventory in an efficient, clean, secure and organized fashion.
  • Manage front of house and back of house stock organization to ensure efficiency to drive business
  • Manage the preparation, completion and reconciliation of all inventories and cycle counts. In addition, will serve as point person lo guide and train store teams on the process as needed.
  • Manage and the execution inventory adjustments to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Ensure that all Company compliance directives, inclusive of inter-store transfers, pullbacks, and client orders.
  • Ensure bin management is being executed in accordance to Company policies
  • Oversee the shipping and receiving lifecycle and maintain collaborative relationships with regional and corporate partners.
  • Partner with the Risk Management department to reduce potential product loss.

Store Facility & Systems

  • Manage maintenance of the store facility, including management of the following functions; housekeeping, lighting, electrical, utilities, store decor, fixtures, furniture, merchandise and props, cleaning and repairs.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including approval of work and invoices.
  • Coordinate with Store Planning on minor works and renovation.
  • Maintain and update all required permits and inspection certificates pertaining to the store's security and safety and supervise all related inspections.
  • Manage and ensure organization of all back of house areas, stockrooms, maintenance rooms, alterations areas, rest rooms, and hold areas.
  • Manage and ensure that the store's technological devices are functioning properly and partnering with IT as necessary to resolve and troubleshoot open tickets.
  • Manage maintenance of exterior condition of the store; appearance, sidewalks, windows, awnings, etc, and partnering with mall or host store as necessary.

Policies and Procedures

  • Understand, abide by and enforce all operational policies and procedures as outlined by Internal Control.
  • Ensure that all policies and procedures are kept current and organized and shared with all members of the staff.
  • Recommend and implement changes to operations policies and procedures as needed.

Service Excellence

  • Ensure teams are upholding the highest standards in preparing and packaging client merchandise.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the client delivery process inclusive of communication updates to clients and troubleshooting of missing deliveries.
  • Manage escalated client needs as necessary.

Team Management and Development

  • Ensure your team delivers the Louis Vuitton Promise to every internal and external Client, through demonstrating and modeling the 4 Louis Vuitton Attitudes.
  • Support your team with consistent coaching, identify their development and training needs, and partner with regional partners to tailor individual development plans.
  • Identify, recruit and develop talents, secure succession plans in collaboration with the Store Manager.
  • Set individual and team goals; proactively assess and manage performance against expectations.
  • Manage and motivate the team to support the business: create a positive and harmonious work environment, foster cooperation within the team and between managers
  • Ensure all HR Prêt-à-portererwork is submitted correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Communicate and enforce timekeeping policies and procedures.
  • Manage and ensure training on all operational procedures, as well as retail and communication systems.

Profile

  • 5+ years of luxury retail experience in operations
  • Strong understanding of the luxury retail market and trends
  • Passion for luxury, fashion and lifestyle – including the Louis Vuitton brand and story
  • Client-focused mindset, with high standards in demonstrating quality and excellence
  • Coaching and team managerial experiences will be strongly preferrable
  • Creative thinker, with a daringness to propose new ideas
  • Collaborative team player, with a high level of empathy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese; proficiency in Mandarin also desirable
