LSEG FX
Through its triple heritage of Reuters, FXall and LCH, LSEG is recognized as a global leader in Foreign Exchange. Our FX products support the trading needs of over 4,000 bank trading desks and 2,400 buy-side customers in over 130 countries.
Our FX product capabilities extend across the full trading lifecycle to deliver comprehensive end-to-end solutions for our customers, including market data, benchmark rates, news, analytics tools, trade workflow, trade execution, STP, electronic price making and order management, clearing and post-trade portfolio optimization.
Over $450bio/day is executed on our FX venues and our Dealing network connects the interbank community for non-electronic trading. Our venues have extensive regulatory approvals supporting the multi-jurisdictional trading requirements of our most complex customers. These include SEF, EU MTF, UK MTF, and Singapore RMO, together with licenses for specific multiple local markets.
Role profile:
NDFs are the fastest growing product in FX. The transformation of the segment from a voice and RFS business to a streaming, multi-venue, multi-jurisdictional product over the last few years has created great opportunity.
As the industry has changed, LSEG FX has invested in the building blocks required to capitalise on this growth and it is now time to move from build into growth mode.
The Head of NDFs will take responsibility for the product revenue line of NDFs across the LSEG FX Global franchise. Their responsibilities will range from ensuring we have the correct product features across our Orderbook, Streaming and RFS offerings. They will be responsible for driving the Sales effort, setting the onward business strategy and most importantly engaging with the key clients who are relevant to this space.
The role will be working directly for the Global Head of FX Product and Liquidity, with public profile, suiting an individual who wants to drive LSEG FX to be the industry leader in this space, in both revenues and thought leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- To grow overall revenues from NDF volumes on LSEG FX Venues
- To establish scalable processes that ensure a smooth experience for new and existing clients of the product
- To regularly engage with key clients and sell the vision of what NDFs at LSEG FX means
- Support Sales to onboard new clients and grow the wallet of existing clients
- Set the strategy for NDFs, work with Product Management to ensure a roadmap is established and the stakeholders understand their role in getting us to the destination
- Cultivate and support thought-leadership initiatives with deep market and industry knowledge.
- Provide clear and timely product and market feedback to sales and proposition management.
- Effectively manage a cost budget
Required Skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to critically assess whether the existing way of doing things is the most effective path forward, making adjustments where necessary
- Be comfortable engaging with the biggest Market Makers in NDFs, able to solicit feedback and engage in productive discourse with these key customers
- Be able to convert the appropriate feedback into a cohesive deliverable strategy
- Knowledge of both primary & secondary NDF markets.
- A strong leader, one who echoes what they say in their actions. It is expected the correct candidate will be a driven self-starter with an ability to focus on delivering results.
- Be conversant on current industry developments and eFX-trading issues.
- Very good client-facing skills, the ability to set client expectations and the ability to get along with all levels of the client's organisation.
- Be interested in what our clients and peers are doing and saying
- The ability to work under considerable time pressure and demonstrate energy, drive and passion.
- Work constructively with Engineering and other Internal Partners
- Technology-literate particularly in relation to electronic trading.
- Willingness to travel, supporting the LSEG FX client network.
