Our BRLA team provides transaction and strategic advice to our clients contemplating special Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) transactions, including but not limited to special situation’s negotiation support, fund-raising, buy-side and sell-side initiatives, project management, debt advisory, business recovery and litigation restructuring advisory for both multinational and national / domestic companies. In addition, we also provide our financial advisory services to start up companies in their Round A; Round B and Round C fund raising exercises. We are a team of almost a hundred specialists strategically located across six cities in China and Hong Kong.
About Business Restructuring and Lead Advisory (BRLA)
In assuming the role of lead BRLA financial advisors, we provides the following key value added services:
Deal origination and evaluation;
Identifications of potential targets/ investors;
Provide deal structural advice;
Valuation advisory;
Negotiation support;
Regulatory/compliance matters advisory; and
Project management.
Job Description
Provide support to the partners in business development, business origination and project-manage M&A transactions Independently;
Prepare pitch documents such as proposals, teasers and information memoranda;
Employs network of internal and external (cross department / functional) contacts to enhance firm connectivity, performance and profitability.
Facilitate and supervise the conduct of market research;
Compile financial models and provide valuation analysis;
Work in conjunction with various professional advisors, including lawyers, to facilitate the preparation of Transaction Documents, such as Letters of Intent, terms sheets and Sale and Purchase Agreements etc;
Perform high-level financial analyses on client companies;
Participate in meetings among clients, counterparts and various professionals and provide support to the client in the negotiations
Requirements
Minimum five to seven years relevant experience for Manager, preferably with exposure to PE firms, corporate finance departments of accounting firms, banks, or large corporations
A degree in economics/accounting/business/finance with professional qualifications in accounting/ finance (such as CPA or CFA etc). MBA degree a definite advantage
Knowledge of the Hong Kong/ China capital market an advantage
Proficient in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
