Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a seasoned professional to lead and oversee the strategic growth of our insurance business. As a Responsible Officer (RO) under the Insurance Authority, the successful candidate will ensure full regulatory compliance while driving the implementation of effective business strategies to achieve organizational objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Responsible Officer (RO), providing leadership in the supervision of regulated activities to ensure compliance with the Insurance Ordinance and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Take ownership of the insurance business's Profit and Loss (P&L), developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies and optimizing distribution channels to achieve growth targets.
  • Identify and capture market opportunities by understanding partner needs, expanding market share, and unlocking business potential.
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of business operations, including the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and drive annual business plans, aligning strategic initiatives with evolving market dynamics and company goals.
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless cross-functional coordination and alignment.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant business discipline.
  • Successfully completed all required papers of the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination.
  • 10 years of experience in insurance sales management and business development.
  • Proven strategic and analytical capabilities, with the ability to design and implement effective sales and growth strategies.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • High level of business acumen, self-motivation, and agility in navigating challenges within a dynamic market environment.
