We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator who is passionate and excited about the hospitality industry. They will be working in a dynamic start-up like environment with a close knit team.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and coordinate social media content and digital assets across channels in keeping with the brand image of the company
- Craft clear and engaging copy within a distinct brand voice across a range of written materials
- Foster a community on our social media platforms by responding to comments, engaging with other accounts, etc.
- Prepare and conduct regular market research and analysis; monitor and track our social media channels
- Aid in public and media relations, marketing activities, support and execution and to promote the companies, events, and strengthen brand image
- Work closely with internal teams and external parties to ensure successful execution of the marketing/pr plan
- Ensure internal systems and records are up to date
- Analyse competitor activity
- Photograph and video key events (may require working on weekends on occasion)
- Design and create various event decor items (i.e. backdrops, menus, posters, etc.) as well as mock-ups of events to present to clients
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as needed
Qualifications
- University degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, English or any other related field - fresh graduates welcome
- Passionate about the food and events industry
- Fluent in spoken and written English; excellent visual and written communication skills
- Knowledgable in using Instagram, Facebook & LinkedIn
- Detail-oriented and organised
- Has an understanding of basic design principles and storytelling
- Good knowledge in Adobe applications (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro is also good); able to edit professional photos and videos as well as design marketing materials for promotions and social media
- Have a can-do attitude, able to work independently and under pressure during busy seasons
- Be able to work on weekends on occasion depending on the event schedule
- Has a valid HKID/working visa; sponsorship is not available
