Job Duties

  • Responsible for overseeing real-time operations of below-the-wing units, ensuring effective communication with external parties such as AA, airlines, and RHOs, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures
  • Achieving departmental objectives, including KPIs, safety standards, and directives, and responding promptly to any internal or external incidents
  • Implement initiatives to maintain and exceed current service levels, and recommend changes to engagement standards and parameters to enhance efficiency within airline teams
  • Continuously monitor, recommend, and implement improvements in operational management and development to meet agreed performance plans, such as SLAs with airline clients covering handling and safety procedures, staff performance, and customer service
  • Manage customer relationships, including attending HRMs for dedicated customer airlines, ensuring that operational management directives are communicated to supporting units for implementation
  • Conduct data analysis for performance monitoring and enhancement, including reviewing staff attendance, injury levels, operational discrepancies, and disciplinary issues
  • Identify staff skill requirements and nominate potential candidates for further development to enhance their job skills and knowledge at all levels
  • Lead supervisors to comply with all safety, security, and environmental regulations, and make recommendations on disciplinary or incentive measures when necessary
  • Guide supervisors in staff development by providing on-the-job coaching, identifying areas for improvement, and hosting career development and performance enhancement discussions to boost personal and team performance
  • Communicate with team members to ensure they understand their roles by sharing up-to-date operational and company information and direction.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor in Business, Logistics, Aviation management or related fields
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in aviation industry, including at least 2 years in a managerial role
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ground operations, aviation safety, and security
  • Excellent in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Ability to perform roster duties as assigned
