Role Purpose:

The Technical Manager role is to manage the quality operation (QA requirement and procedure, collaboration with Buying & Supply Chain team) of all beauty and lifestyle own-brand products made for retail brands of AS Watson Group.

A typical day in this Role:

• Be responsible for product safety, performance and reliability by defining necessary QA requirements from design to end-of-life
• Liaison with worldwide buyers, suppliers & 3rd party labs on product qualification tests to ensure products complying with destination country regulation and internal company (e.g. private label) requirements
• Manage a team of engineers to monitor the change of market regulations and ensure the Group QA guidelines & procedures are up-to-date
• Drive for effective supplier corrective actions as a result of quality issues, complaints, etc
• Prepare and evaluate the monthly KPI of QA processes.

• You are a COMPETITOR. You are comfortable with taking calculated risks and you have a laser focus on achieving results.

Success will depend on:

• Academic Background in Science, Engineering or related disciplines
• Work experience in accredited laboratory or hard goods industry, preferably with knowledge of electrical products
• You have good knowledge of products requirements for EU, ASEAN ad CN markets
• You are a good communicator in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin
• You have high proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
