Our Client, a reputable financial services firm is seeking a talented Junior Data Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and infrastructure. You will work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure data quality, accessibility, and reliability.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
• Collaborate with team on data warehousing and data collection
• Monitor data quality to ensure program stability
• Design and implement front-end components to support data exploration
• Deliver back-end services for effective data solutions.
• Perform data quality and integrity check

 

Requirements:

• Excellent academic background, mathematics or statistics related subject would be an advantage
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in data engineering
• Experience in data collection, web scrapping, back-end processing is essential for the role.
• Strong experience in both data storage solutions and data analysis
• Experience with using data pipeline and ETL tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• Candidate who fluent in Mandarin and English is highly preferred

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics or other related field
