We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences:

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in a research project focused on promoting health and well-being among the elderly population. The appointee will be primarily responsible for conducting a systematic literature review, with additional duties including the following:

  • Conducting a systematic literature review on health-relevant topics;
  • Preparing research project reports and drafting related review papers;
  • Performing qualitative data analysis; and
  • Providing other research-related assistance as assigned by the supervisor.

He/she will be normally assigned to work not more than 17 hours per week.

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

  • A recognized master's degree or above, in biology, Chinese medicine, healthcare, or related disciplines;
  • Familiarity with systematic review tools and frameworks, such as PRISMA guidelines, Cochrane Handbook, or similar;
  • Proven experience in conducting systematic reviews, with a strong track record of publishing systematic review papers in peer-reviewed journals;
  • Experience or knowledge related to qualitative research studies;
  • Strong writing skills for research articles;
  • Self-motivated, with strong learning capability; and
  • Fluency in English.

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
