Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chief Concierge in carrying out rules, policies and procedures set.
  • Supervise Concierge Colleagues’ attendance according to the duty roster and supervise their performance while on duty.
  • Act as a key in the vertical communication channel between the Chief Concierge and the teams. All the necessary information and are up-to-date and precise when answering to guests queries.
  • Ensure that all new join concierges are adequately instructed in service rules, policies and procedures; ensuring that service procedures are adhered to and carried out in detail and are corrected through constant on-the-job training.
  • Conduct training in order to up-keep professional standard of service.
  • Supervise the service of receiving, stringing, shipping and packaging parcels and baggage for the guests; &
  • Stay abreast of all functions and events which take place both inside and outside of the Hotel.

Qualifications

  • Holder of Higher Diploma in hospitality-related discipline; University graduate is preferred.
  • 5 years or above experience in Concierge of luxury hotel ; Minimum of 3-year supervisory experience is required.
  • Possess an extensive personal network among the industry.
  • Profound skills of delegation, leadership, team management, training and hotel guest service.
  • Open minded, service oriented, outgoing, proactive and able to work under pressure and stressful environment.
