Role Overview:

As a Senior Low-Latency C++ Developer, you’ll be at the heart of my client's options trading infrastructure, architecting and implementing ultra-high-performance solutions to drive trading execution and risk management. This is a highly visible role, working closely with traders, quants, and infrastructure engineers to deliver solutions that directly impact profitability and market leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize ultra-low-latency trading systems in C++, ensuring maximum performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate directly with traders and quantitative researchers to translate complex trading algorithms and strategies into high-performance code.
• Continuously analyze, tune, and enhance system latency and throughput through rigorous benchmarking, profiling, and code optimization.
• Drive innovation by staying abreast of industry developments in hardware acceleration, network optimization, and high-performance computing.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience developing ultra-low-latency, high-performance systems in modern C++.
• Deep familiarity with trading systems, ideally with direct exposure to the options market.
• Strong knowledge of latency optimization techniques, performance profiling tools, and multi-threaded systems programming.
• Experience with Linux operating systems and low-level network programming (TCP/UDP, multicast, kernel bypass technologies).
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for technology and finance.
• Excellent communication skills, collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
