Product Manager (Trade Finance)

  • Develop and commercialize the new trade product especially related to open account trade, including drafting product program, liaising internal stakeholders to obtain new product approval, coordinating FI Dept. to set up credit limit for insurers, discussing insurance policy with insurers and Legal, launch the new trade product, sorting out the issue under product implementation, enhancing the product capability, insurance claim etc.;
  • Work with trade sales to define market requirement, understand client needs and prospects, identify opportunity, work out product solutions to meet these needs ensuring delivery of trade.
  • Improve the competitiveness of existing trade product, develop strategies to diversify trade product and improve efficiency, devise marketing campaign, including RM incentives, and drive trade finance business growth.
  • Provide support to trade sales and RM to facilitate the closure of complex trade finance deals. Develop product training materials, provide regular training to trade sales and RM, and communicate any changes.
  • Identify and manage trade product risks including operational, regulatory and business conduct risk, escalate risk issues timely and drive to conclusion;
  • Work with Operations to enhance overall trade service and to ensure quality of service to customers. Develop and strengthen digital trade solution and channel.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5.
  • Minimum 3 years of solid experience in corporate banking or trade finance experience, experience in trade product management is preferred.
  • Solid knowledge in receivable finance, credit insurance and trade payable finance.
  • Good analytical skill, interpersonal skill and presentation skill.
  • Good understanding on banking systems, operations and credit risk.
  • Ability to speak Mandarin, read and write in Chinese.

Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Product Manager
