Job Overview

Provide IT infrastructure and cloud administration and support, including configuration, management, and troubleshooting of resources such as VMware, operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, cloud infrastructure services, networking.  Implement IT infrastructure and cloud related projects with the team and vendors.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor cloud resources for performance and cost optimization.
• Design infrastructure solutions, automate cloud deployments and ensure seamless integration with DevOps practices.
• Implement and administrate Landing Zone in different cloud platforms.
• Work with internal security team to implement security measures on IT infrastructure. 
• Manage server, network and cloud change requests and service requests.
• Work with Network Operation Center (NOC) for network monitoring and management.
• Work with Managed Service Provider (MSP) for cloud monitoring and management. 
• Prepare technical designs and documentation, liaise with vendors and suppliers to setup IT infrastructure and cloud environment.
• Administrate, monitor, maintain and optimize VMware, servers, SAN, WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi networks, and cloud resource for optimal performance and maximum availability.
• Ensure all on-premises devices (servers, firewalls, SAN, routers, switches, load balancers, Wi-Fi controllers) and cloud resources are in good working condition.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in server, network, cloud resource, security areas, including performance and capacity challenges.
• Respond promptly to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and provide temporary and/or permanent resolutions for escalated incidents.
• Provide onsite technical support for site offices and public events.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline is preferred. 
• Certification holders in CCNA, CCNP, HCIE, H3CNA, Azure AZ-104, AWS Solution Architect, Alibaba Cloud Certification Associate (ACA) Cloud Computing Certification, VMware Certified Professional are advantageous.
• 1-3 years of related working experience in IT infrastructure, cloud and large-scale enterprise networking support.

Experience and skills:

• Possess skills on Azure cloud and cloud platforms of Great China like Alibaba Cloud.
• Possess skills in cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, and proficiency with Terraform. 
• Possess skills in Landing Zone implementation and administration on different cloud platforms comply with CIS baseline.
• Possess skills in workload migration of AWS platform to Great China cloud platforms. 
• Familiarity with cloud networking. 
• Experience with server hardware, SAN, firewalls, switching, routing, wireless technologies, network access control systems, IPSec VPN, SD-WAN, and cloud.
• Extensive experience in large-scale IT infrastructure, network, and cloud design, implementation, and maintenance will be an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft products, virtualization technology, cloud infrastructure, server management, SAN management, network switch and routing management, VPN, encryption technology, and backup and recovery solutions. 
• Knowledge of network security systems (such as Fortigate, Checkpoint, Huawei, Palo Alto XDR, Palo Alto Prisma SASE) and their functionalities.
• Strong team player with the ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly, along with excellent problem-solving skills. 
• Self-motivated, quick learner with a strong sense of responsibility. 
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
