Key Responsibilities

The Audit Staff will play a vital role in our assurance services team by:

• Conducting audit work and performing substantive testing procedures for clients across various industries
• Preparing and drafting financial statements in accordance with SME-FRS
• Assisting in the preparation of tax computations and liaising with the Inland Revenue Department as needed
• Communicating with clients to gather necessary information for performing audit procedures
• Documenting audit findings and making recommendations for improvements in clients' financial reporting and internal control processes
• Collaborating with senior team members to resolve complex accounting and auditing issues.
• Ensuring compliance with professional standards and firm methodologies throughout the audit process.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Successful candidates for this position should possess:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Ideally 2 years of experience in audit in a CPA firm environment
• Fluency in Cantonese and good command of English in both written and verbal communication
• Strong knowledge of and experience with preparing reports under SME-FRS framework
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word

Preferred Additional Qualifications

While not required, the following would be considered valuable assets:

• Knowledge of Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS)
• Student member or in progress toward qualification with HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting body
