As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organisation and supporting event operations through accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets for various events and projects.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage invoicing, payment processing, and collections to ensure timely transactions.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 8 of experience in accounting, preferably within the events industry.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus.
