Our client operates in the entertainment industry, organizing events and SME functions. They are currently looking for a Senior Financial Manager to oversee financial operations, guide the planning process, and provide strategic advice to ensure the group's financial health and growth. This role requires an experienced professional with a robust finance background, exceptional analytical skills, and the capability to develop a solid future framework.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in formulating the Groups future direction and supporting initiatives
Participate in the Groups strategic business planning
Manage the budgeting process with an emphasis on budgets for the projects the operating businesses are working on
Oversee the overall Finance and Accounting functions of the Group
Review monthly financial statements and year-end financial reporting to ensure accuracy and in accordance with accounting standards
Preparation of monthly payroll including MPF and tax return filing
Perform financial analysis, analytical review, budgeting, cash flow forecast and ad hoc activities and reports
Liaison with General Managers and Project Leads regarding monthly company and project financial status, cash flow and forecast expenditures
Support management in ensuring the Group’s accounting and administration adheres to statutory requirements
Prepare group annual budget and various analysis or reports to assist enable decision making by senior management
Evaluate, enhance and implement financial policies or internal procedures to improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the Group’s businesses
Identify risks and opportunities and presentation to senior management
Monitor business performance and collaborate with other departments to ensure the business objective and target is achieved
Co-ordinate with external parties such as banks, auditors, tax, legal advisors and company secretary
Monitor the performance of the Finance team
Other duties as assigned by the senior management
Requirements:
University graduate in Finance/ Accounting or related discipline with accounting qualification
Minimum 10 years all-rounded experience in Finance/ Accounting (with experience in handling companies across APAC region is preferred)
Manage a team of 3 members
Willingness to adapt to a small business structure and to support the directors
Good analytical skills, critical thinking and attention to details
Excellent communications skills, take initiative, flexible and able to work in a teamwork environment
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Less experience will be considered a Financial Manager
