Program Manager - Global Financial Institution - Hong Kong
Our client, a reputable global financial institution, is actively seeking an experienced Program Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various projects and initiatives within the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and delivering value across the business. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to drive program success and foster collaboration.
The role:
Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple programs and projects, ensuring they align with organizational objectives and deliver expected outcomes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, compliance, and business units, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Develop and maintain program schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with program execution, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Facilitate regular status meetings and provide updates to senior management and stakeholders on program progress, challenges, and achievements.
Drive process improvements and best practices in project management methodologies, ensuring consistency and efficiency across programs.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within project teams.
What you offer:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience as a Program Manager or in a similar role within a financial institution or related industry.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results.
Experience managing budgets and financial forecasting for programs.
Professional certifications such as PMP preferred
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial services industry.
Experience with change management and organizational transformation initiatives.
