Our client, one of the leading Global Investment Banks, are now keen to meet-with and hire a strong Virtualisation & VMWare Engineer as they continue to build and grow their infrastructure across APAC. Excellent opportunity and exposure with a top Investment Bank and regional enterprise infrastructure.

The role:

• Project Management: Manage and coordinate the relocation of VMware vSphere infrastructure assets.
• Team work and Collaboration: Work closely with project leads, virtualization SMEs, infrastructure teams, application teams, and peers to define project specifications and gather requirements.
• Stakeholder Management: Ensure timely and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels, including regular follow-ups with infrastructure, application support, business teams, and peers.
• Reporting: Provide appropriate reporting to ensure requests are well addressed.

What you offer:

• VMware Engineering : Strong and hands-on engineering with VMware vSphere, including project design, implementation, roll-out and escalation / support.
• Technical Project Management : Proven experience and track record managing large-scale infrastructure projects including virtualisation infrastructure, data center relocations etc,
• Vendor Management : Experience with IT infra (regional-level) and strong experience with IT vendors (ideally across APAC).
• Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• At least 5-6+ years' experience covering virtualised infrastructure in UNIX / RHEL, Windows Server and Storage, plus networking, switches, and firewalls.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or relevant).
• Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications are preferred.
