Investment Banking

Nomura's Investment Banking team specializes in mergers and acquisitions, equity, and debt capital markets, and restructuring and financing, with a strong track record of success and exceptional service to clients across industries. Responsibilities

  • With a focus on China cross border M&A transaction, partnering with colleagues in industry and sector teams to originate and execute the full spectrum of M&A transactions
  • Act as the primary day-to-day client point of contact on deals
  • Review and coordinate the analytic work of junior bankers to advance the marketing and execution process
  • Train junior bankers to enhance their skills and performance
  • Refine marketing and execution materials
  • Oversee the creation of financial projection models
  • Lead client negotiations, Q&A processes and management interviews
  • Coordinate with other internal and external parties on transactions (e.g., lawyers, accountants, counterparties)

 

Requirements  

    • Strong academic record with at least 7 years of relevant work experience in China cross border M&A.
    • Strong transaction experience in China & China Cross border transaction experience.
    • Advanced financial modelling and financial analytical skills;
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
    • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills;
    • A strong sense of personal integrity and teamwork;
    • Demonstrated ability to generate innovative solutions to complex problems
    • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new situations;
    • Fluency in English is required.
