Senior/Telephone Services Ambassador/Supervisor (5-Day Work Week)
To provide courteous service to guests and respond promptly and tactfully to guests’ complaints, requests and inquiries. Ensure that telephone calls answer within 3 rings with proper telephone etiquette.
To handle all incoming and outgoing telephone calls with courtesy and efficiency
To be familiar with hotel and its facilities, the department and section heads, responsibilities of each department, the office extension numbers and its respective operation hours
To be familiar with daily functions and activities in the hotel when reporting duty
To assist hotel guest in getting through telephone calls whenever they have difficulties.
To transmit accurately and promptly all messages requested to be relayed to a particular party by guests or management officials.
To know the weather forecast for the day
To always ensure guest’s privacy is respected during communication.
To ensure outstanding items that require to be followed up is entered into the log book and properly handed over to the oncoming shift
To be familiar and to comply with hotel policies and regulations
To be familiarized with hotel emergency procedures and to handle emergency cases as required, i.e. fire alarm.
To follow up on job assignment and feedback to Telephone Services Manager or Supervisor accordingly.
To perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Management.
Requirements
Certificate in hospitality / hotel study or related discipline
Good command in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Cheerful tone of voice
Positive attitude and can work under pressure
Hotel operational experience preferred but not essential
