About The Role

LOJEL is looking for someone who has attention to details, thorough and possess strong work ethics to be a senior accountant. This role helps our accounting team to expand in handling different regional accountancy. The senior accountant should be knowledgeable with bookkeeping practices and financial legislation, oversee accounting operations by controlling and verifying the financial transactions.

Responsibilities

Finance & Bookkeeping:

• Verify, alloocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable;
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results;
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
• Manage accounting assistants
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process
• Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• Liaise with our finance manager and accounting manager to improve financial procedures
  
  

Other

• Apply and support related sustainability initiatives;
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism;
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent experience;
• 5-7 years of relevant experience with financial accounting statements, general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process;
• Strong organizational and administrative skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines;
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally with employees at all levels;
• High attention to detail with a strong work ethic and reliable character;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
• Experience with G-Suite (especially Google Sheets), Excel, Quickbooks, Xero, Netsuite, PayPal, Stripe;
• Awareness and ability to apply ESG-related initiatives;
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment;
• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed.
