The Role

This Engineering/IT Recruiter role plays a key function in our clients’ success by partnering with Hiring Managers in developing effective, consultative, professional relationships with them. This role will deliver end to end recruitment services to the client in line with agreed service level.

The recruiter understands the Tech/Engineering banking talent pool very well. And has solid capabilities to navigate the complexities in a top tier investment banking environment.

Key Accountabilities

What you will do:

• Take full ownership to end to end recruitment service for the Tech/Engineering hiring. Executing from sourcing to offer management in line with contractual obligations and client service level agreements
• Building proactive relationships with key internal stakeholders in the Tech space
• Lead vacancy consultation discussions to agree the recruitment plans with hiring managers– this includes role requirements, sourcing strategy, DEI requirements, agreed timeframes, salary proposal and onboarding responsibilities
• Anticipate potential stakeholder issues within own area of expertise, taking action to address, and using judgement to escalate appropriately
• Build proactive pipelining strategies and share insights with hiring managers to support strategic decision-making and execution outside of live demand.

Skills & Experience

• You are an experienced recruiter within RPO or in-house Tech Investment Banking who has strong critical thinking and think out of the box mindset
• Proven track record of working closely with HRBPs, colleagues from compensation and benefits in proposing and extending simple to complex offers to candidates
• Solid prior experience in recruiting Engineering/IT roles from the banking sector is highly essential
• Expertise in multiple candidate sourcing channels (e.g. web sourcing, networking, advertising, database searching)
• Demonstrated ability to influence candidates, hiring decisions makers and stakeholders, with ability to drive innovation and keep up to date with market trends related to recruitment
• You are client focused, proactive and a team player
• Confident communicator, good English communication skills, with a persuasive and credible personal style
• Experience working in an agile fast-moving setting is what you enjoy
