What this job involves

The Client Finance Manager will be responsible for leading the financial operations and service delivery for major client accounts across the region. This role involves managing a team, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving financial excellence in reporting, budgeting, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management
Lead and develop a team of finance professionals (3 members)

Provide clear direction, strategic financial advice, and set measurable goals

Establish defined career paths and mentor staff

Client/Stakeholder Management
Serve as primary liaison with client's financial managers

Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and manage relationships

Support client transitions, including onboarding and offboarding processes

Financial Reporting and Analysis
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

Analyse and comment on monthly financial performance variances

Ensure accurate and timely financial information for all stakeholders

Budgeting and Forecasting
Lead the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts

Monitor cost spending within budget and track savings

Perform uploads to financial systems (e.g., JDE, OCI, PeopleSoft)

Cash Flow and Credit Control
Maintain good cash flow for business operations

Ensure accounts receivable collection aligns with terms

Monitor credit control and manage vendor payments

Process Improvement and Analytics
Develop systems for benchmarking and performance analytics

Drive business process improvements and cost efficiencies

Implement and leverage JLL technology to enhance service delivery

Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations

Maintain governance oversight over client and JLL set of books

Support SOC1 attestations and internal control improvements

Business Development
Support new business initiatives by contributing to RFPs

Provide strategic partnering and advice on contracts and pricing

Interested? An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications
Desired experience and technical skills
Required
Minimum 5 years experience in finance/accounting roles with MNC and regional exposure

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field; professional certification preferred

Strong accounting knowledge (US GAAP preferred)

Proficiency in Excel and financial system applications (e.g., JDE, OCI, PeopleSoft)

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and presentation skills (English and local language)

Experience in property accounting is a plus

Client-centric mindset with strong relationship management skills

Self-motivated, flexible, and able to adapt to changing situations

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and timeliness

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Cross-cultural team leadership experience
