A global research firm is seeking a Junior Equity Research Analyst for the overseas market (US / EU / ANZ). Near-native English proficiency is required.

You will join a well-established global research firm that provides professional services to a wide range of clients, including top-tier hedge funds, asset managers, and more.

Your new role

• Produce in-depth research on both private and public markets across various industries for specific regions, such as Australia, the US, the UK, and Europe.
  
• Generate potential investment ideas and perform due diligence on various topics.
  
• Initiate and drive discussions with industry experts and build relationships with clients.
  
• Write comprehensive research reports and upload them to the portal for access by investors and buyside/sellside firms.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• 1-3 years of working experience in equities and/or private equity through sell-side, buy-side, or other investment research-related roles.
  
• Hands-on experience in conducting equity research and/or proven ability to perform fundamental, bottom-up research.
  
• Proficiency in English is a must; fluency close to native level.
  
• Presentable with strong communication skills and a keen interest in meeting people.
  
• Solid understanding of equity research and a research-based role. Understanding of the Australian market or having studied in Australia is preferred.
