Public Sector Financial Institutions Relationship Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Relationship Manager to join our Institutional Banking team, focusing on Public Sector and Financial Institutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with public sector clients, ensuring the delivery of tailored financial solutions, and driving business growth.

Your New Role:

• Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in public sector, asset management companies, securities firms such financial institutions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the public sector, asset managers and securities firms, including government agencies, municipalities, and other public entities.
• Provide customized financial solutions to meet the unique needs of assigned clients, including loans, treasury services, and investment products.
• Assess and manage credit risk, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with internal teams, including credit, compliance, and product specialists, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
• Prepare and present regular reports on client activities, market conditions, and business performance to senior management.

What you'll need to succeed :

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in relationship management within the FIG sector, preferably with a focus on public sector clients, from international banks backgrounds
• Strong understanding of public sector financial institutions and their unique needs.
• Proven track record of business development and client relationship management.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and assess credit risk
• Good command of English and Chinese written and speaking skills
