Job Title: Senior UX Designer

Team: Segway-Ninebot Design Center – UX/UI Team

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior UX Designer to join the UX/UI Team at Segway-Ninebot Design Center.

As a key member of the team, you will help define and elevate user experiences across our product ecosystem—spanning mobile apps, web platforms, and HMI systems for smart mobility solutions such as kick scooters, motorcycles, and ATVs.

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and requires deep expertise in user-centered design, design systems, and prototyping.

Fluency in both English and Chinese is required, as this position involves regular collaboration with both global and local teams.

We are especially looking for someone who has led digital services from concept through launch and post-release operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX design initiatives across app, web, and HMI platforms, from concept to final delivery

• Collaborate closely with product managers, UI designers, researchers, and engineers to deliver holistic user experiences

• Conduct and apply user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions

• Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes using Figma

• Help maintain and evolve our internal design system and UX standards

• Communicate effectively with both local and global stakeholders in English and Chinese

• Support and mentor junior designers, contributing to a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture

Requirements

• 5+ years of UX design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking and attention to detail

• Proven experience leading the full lifecycle of a product or service, from ideation through launch and operation

• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, especially in building interactive prototypes

• Experience with ProtoPie is a plus

• Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles, interaction patterns, and usability standards

• Experience designing for mobile apps, websites, or embedded interfaces (HMI)

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

• Fluency in both English and Chinese is required

• Ability to handle complexity, adapt to fast-changing priorities, and drive projects independently

• Experience working in international or cross-cultural teams
