Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Robotics Engineer (Computer Vision) to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing and implementing advanced algorithms for 3D point cloud processing, object recognition, and SLAM, as well as integrating AI technologies into our systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer vision and robotics, with proficiency in optimizing algorithms for real-time applications and NVIDIA hardware.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement algorithms for 3D point cloud processing, object recognition, and segmentation.
Enhance and optimize SLAM algorithms for real-time application in mobile and static environments.
Integrate and optimize AI technologies such as Open3D and 2D+3D inference models for improved data analysis and visualization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Pakistan and Hong Kong to integrate new features into SpatialSense.
Conduct R&D to explore new techniques in computer vision and machine learning for infrastructure monitoring.
Ensure the robustness and accuracy of our computer vision applications under various operational conditions.
Optimize computer vision algorithms to leverage NVIDIA hardware, including GPUs and specialized accelerators.
Conduct performance profiling and benchmarking of algorithms on NVIDIA hardware.
Implement and integrate computer vision algorithms into end-to-end systems for real-time performance.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to utilize the latest features of NVIDIA hardware platforms.
Work with researchers and academic partners to evaluate state-of-the-art computer vision techniques.
Qualifications
Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in computer vision.
Strong background in 3D point cloud data processing, including experience with SLAM and camera-LiDAR calibration.
Proficiency in deep learning methods and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Extensive experience in optimizing computer vision algorithms for NVIDIA hardware.
In-depth understanding of computer vision concepts and hands-on experience with CUDA and cuDNN libraries.
Knowledge of parallel computing principles and GPU programming techniques.
Familiarity with computer vision libraries and tools such as OpenCV, Dlib, or PCL.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience with ROS software and methodologies.
Proficient in programming languages such as C++ and Python.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
