Duties And Responsibilities

Establish and manage demand planning process through pre-season, in season and post season analysis and in alignment with global demand push cadence.

  • Collaborate with Channel, Sales and Merchandising teams to develop seasonal demand plan and derive monthly pacing with finance plan reconciliation.
  • Review O9 DP logics and parameters including like-style maintenance, STAT and NPI checking, update demand plan in O9 based on official pass cut-off, achieve demand consensus
  • Track performance including in-season sell through, sales response to marketing campaigns, assess supply excess or constraint risk, and facilitate cross functions on solutions.
  • Review post season forecast accuracy, identify forecast variance driver, investigate root cause, publish standardized reports, and engage with stakeholders to share success & lesson learnt for future improvement.
  • Roll out 5-step Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to support cross functions alignment, ensure well-thought business projection and increase stock efficiency.

    M anage supply planning process through alignment of seasonal safety stock strategy, buy plan conversion and inventory management. C ontinue review demand and supply gap, proactively manage constraint, mitigate risks, and optimize inventory across channels.

    • Maintain O9 Supply Planning management system parameters, manage order & inventory functions within SP module, release approval on local buy plan and communicate with stakeholders on potential supply risks.
    • Collaborate closely with channels to proactively review style-color level buffer strategy, sell-through assumptions, excess inventory and validate updated inventory need.
    • Support commercial teams by monitoring product supply through the cycle from launch to exit, especially on critical products, facilitate from channels supply coverage to stock clearance.
    • Conduct monthly S&OP processes, Weekly/biweekly S&OE, manage low forecasted items, factory delays, ATP.
    • Establish and maintain inventory dashboard including stock turn, aging mix and fulfillment risk. Master a complete view of inventory flow

    • Represent Demand Planning and Supply Planning in S&OP steps.
    • Maintain visibility not only on static inventory position (current snapshot) but also dynamic projection with Inventory Purchase and Sales (IPS).
    • Facilitate cross functions to drive alignment and actions plan to supply financial achievement and stock turn improvement.
    • Represent local market in global and regional communication on demand trend update, supply prioritization and constraint discussion, dynamics, risk, opportunities and business requirement exceptions call out on related projects.
    • Actively educate stakeholders on local business practice and difference with other regions.

    Continuous improvement on planning systems and process

    • Participate in Advanced Planning project for local market with planning process re-engineering, O9 Demand Planning and Supply Planning implementation and enhancement.
    • Support other global and regional initiatives, including inventory reporting standardization and order management system enhancement.
    • Attend O9 business requirement study, training, testing, business data validation to support system enhancement, sustain phase and next phases improvement.
    • Continuously access and provide suggestions on improvement of training material, system compatibility with process, and tool performance.

    Qualifications

    Education & Any Certifications Required

    Degree holder preferably in Business Administrative, analysis, or supply chain related.

    Year(s) Of Experience & Background Required

    • 5 years demand planning, or in combination of sales planning, supply planning, inventory planning and analyst experience focused preferably on Footwear, Apparel, FMCG
    • Fluent in written and spoken English and local language
    • Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, project management skill strongly preferred
    • Result-oriented, strong self-initiatives and resilience
    • Flexible and adaptable to change, manage well in dynamic and past-pacing environment
    • Supply chain knowledge, e.g. production and logistics helpful.

    Functional & Technical Competencies

    • Proficiency in MS Office application, especially in Excel and Power Point, with Power BI/MS ACCESS desired
    • knowledge of O9, other DP tools, BI Data, GT Nexus, Oracle EBS will be an advantage
