Develop and execute a sales and profitability plan for the assigned territory
Expand Elevator and Escalator sales (depth and breadth) in the region within existing accounts
Identify and target new prospects
Analyze customer and prospect activity and take action as required to meet sales and profitability plan
Recommend and lead cross-functional teams in developing product and service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential
Utilize RDCs to increase capacity and enhance service to market
Promote and facilitate product training and plant tours with customers, prospects, and industry organizations to support the sales strategy
Support Distribution Partner efforts in maintaining and attaining new accounts
Be the subject matter expert on the market, on customers, their decision makers, their sourcing strategy and their key products
Anticipate customer needs and questions and be proactive in finding and presenting solutions
Where customer needs can not be met, manage expectations with customers by collaborating on alternative solutions
Develop and maintain cadence of customer touch points (meetings, calls, marketing, and email communication)
Develop and deliver oral and written presentations to customers and prospects
Coordinate resolution of customer issues with appropriate internal resources (Customer Care, Product Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Distribution, Credit etc.)
Assist product managers with pricing decisions, product introduction, inventory decisions and product group forecasting
Communicate new pricing, product and related industry information to customers and prospects timely
Collect forecasts from customers and summarize the details to communicate changes in ordering trends using the existing SOP process and developing new processes as required
Communicate market updates internally
Prepare and distribute necessary management, sales or customer reports
Update CRM with Customer contact information, RFP opportunities, and key communication notes (including customer meeting notes)
Be proactive in leading initiatives to create or improve processes and tools that allow us to serve the market
Participate in regional trade shows
Manages up to the Senior Manager communicating activity related to the responsibilities of the Sales Manager role
Assist to set up facility in the region to support the new business growth
Plan for adequate stock and inventory control to support the healthy operation in the region
Co-ordinate the logistic arrangement from overseas and in local region
