Our client is a reputation investment bank with a prominent presence in Asia. An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a junior to mid-level Operational Risk Manager to join an established team based in HK. This is a newly created headcount to support the growth of the Asia business.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess operational risks in equities and eTrading activities.
• Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and track operational risk incidents.
• Develop and maintain risk registers and risk management documentation.
• Prepare operational risk reports for senior management.
• Enhance processes and controls, identifying and implementing improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure sound risk management practices.
• Provide training and guidance on operational risk-related matters.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• At least 5 years of experience in operational risk management or similar roles in investment banking.
• Knowledge of cash equities, and eTrading is a plus
• Professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CRM) are advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
