Role Description

This is a paid, on-site role for an Intern at Niatross Investments Limited in Hong Kong for a duration of six months . The analyst will work closely with the investment research team to support fundamental equity research.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Portfolio Management: Assist the portfolio manager and senior analysts with in-depth research and analysis of portfolio stocks and sectors.
• Financial Modeling: Develop, update, and maintain detailed financial models to support investment decisions.
• Report Preparation: Create concise reports and strategy presentations for companies and sectors under coverage.
• Event Tracking: Monitor and proactively track key events related to portfolio companies, their peer groups, and the broader industry landscape.

Required Qualifications

• Educational Background: MBA or postgraduate degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or a related analytical field.
• Professional Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience in financial research or analytics.
• Certifications: CFA designation or progress towards CFA certification is a plus.

Required Skills

• Independence and Motivation: Ability to work independently with a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
• Communication Skills: Fluent in both spoken and written English with strong communication skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency with market databases like Bloomberg or Refinitiv is a plus.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
