Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager to lead the development of our

innovative SaaS solutions. The ideal candidate will blend academic rigor with

practical industry expertise, and be well-versed in product management and

academic research. This role demands exceptional communication and leadership

skills to effectively bridge the gap between academia and industry, fostering

collaboration and driving innovation. As a pivotal member of our team, you will shape

our product roadmap, cultivate a culture of innovation, and significantly contribute to

our business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Product Development Leadership: Lead the development of translation

technology products from concept to launch, ensuring timely and within-

budget delivery, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure

seamless integration and effective product development.

• Technology Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging

technologies in AI and translation field, applying theoretical knowledge to

drive practical product innovation and growth.

• Industry-Academia Bridge: Serve as a bridge between industry and

academia, translating cutting-edge research into commercially viable products

and publishing company R&D achievements in renowned academic venues.

Requirements:

1. Ph.D. in Translation Technology:

• A Ph.D. degree in translation technology or a closely related field,

preferably from a local university in Hong Kong.

• A robust academic background, evidenced by publications and

presentations at academic conferences, highlighting expertise in

translation technology.

• Experience in translation, particularly in publishing translation works,

with a preference for expertise in translation technology.

2. Product Development Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in product development, with a

proven track record of successfully leading projects, ideally in a SaaS

solution environment.

• Proficient in at least one programming language and capable of

developing products independently.

• Proven experience collaborating with both front-end and back-end

developers to ensure efficient product development, with a strong

focus on SaaS solutions.

3. Language Skills:

• Good at Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, capable of effectively

engaging with stakeholders and team members from varied linguistic

• and cultural backgrounds.
