Company Introduction:
Predicted is founded under the belief that restaurant food waste is a serious issue not properly addressed, with Hong Kong restaurants producing over 300 million kilograms annually. Today Predicted is developing software technology to tackle this, aiming towards creating a zero-waste restaurant ecosystem.
At Predicted, we put continuous effort into building technologies with the ability to change how restaurants operate in today’s world. This is achieved by using our expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence to give restaurants precise traffic and sales forecasts, speeding up decision-making for operators in the fast-paced (changing) Food & Beverage environment.
As we move forward, we will integrate hardware, the prediction model that restaurants use to improve work within minutes, and the software tying it together. Right now, we are just scratching the surface of building a sustainable restaurant industry with the potential for global reach.
And we are looking for exceptional engineers to grow Predicted’s impact, tackling the restaurant industry to make it a zero-waste leader, starting in Hong Kong and going worldwide. Here you will do more than join an early team—you’ll drive the mission and live the values that define everything we build at Predicted.
The values we hold close are: innovation for new ideas, integrity for honesty, mission-focus to cut waste, adaptability for change, harmony for teamwork, and excellence to keep getting better.
Predicted is meant to be a flat, small, and talent-dense team based on merit, where we aim to move fast and deliver great experiences for our users.
It doesn’t matter where you were born, where you studied, or what industry you’ve worked in—if you genuinely believe you’ve done great work and can deliver results, this is your chance to make a lasting impact .
Job Description:
As a Full Stack Engineer, at the very core, you will be responsible for building our software and integrating the prediction model (ultimately building an AI-powered prediction platform), turning Figma designs into a working system—front-end displays to back-end APIs—and steering its growth from a Hong Kong startup to a global tool.
You’ll own the technical backbone, coding features like traffic forecasts that help restaurants cut waste, syncing AI models with our AI engineer (the framework of the prediction model, made in python, API is yet to be finalized), and connecting our software to POS (Point of Sale) systems for real-time use. As we expand our team, you’ll ensure the team delivers fast and keeps our tech rock-solid.
On this team, you’ll be a key figure in delivering solutions we rely on, technical, driven, and ready to clear roadblocks. Food & Beverage experience isn’t needed here to be successful, just a passion to build something that matters and reshape how restaurants run.
We’ll talk more about the job role, your impact and company's roadmap in the interview, stuff we can’t put here.
