- Full-service food distributor with own multi-temperature warehouse facilities and logistics services.
- We focus primarily on fresh and frozen food products; selling a wide variety of meat, poultry, seafood, dairy, fresh produce, dry goods and confection. Our product list is well over 2000 items
- Main customers : high end restaurants, hotels, catering and private clubs in Hong Kong
- We are looking for SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE (FOOD SERVICES) - with details as follows :
ROLE SUMMARY :
- Perform sales of high-quality imported food products primarily to Western restaurants, hotels, and private clubs in Hong Kong.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food sales, a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships while driving sales growth.
- 80% time : serve existing customers to grow the sales turnover of each customer
- 20% time : develop new potential customers
- You will report to the Food Services Sales Manager. Work in a Sales team of 6 members.
THE JOB :
- Build and enhance strong relationships with key decision-makers, including chefs, procurement managers, and F&B directors.
- Conduct regular client visits to understand their needs, provide product recommendations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide after-sales support, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand awareness.
- 5+ years experience in food sales to the Food Services sector
- Proven track record of selling to high-end restaurants, hotels, catering and private clubs in Hong Kong.
- Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry, including food trends, sourcing practices, and procurement processes.
- Fluent in English and Cantonese (written and spoken); Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Flexibility to attend client meetings, industry events, or trade shows outside of regular business hours when required
- Tertiary education
- Experience in managing key accounts and achieving long-term customer loyalty.
- Passion for food and a strong understanding of international cuisines.
