As a CBRE Assistant Maintenance Engineer/Technical Supervisor, you will guide the team responsible for maintaining client office facilities and equipment. And providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily facilities maintenance for all assigned facilities, mainly E&M, minor of builder's work
  • Create work plans for both preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Monitor and commit completion rate on CAFM/ FM order system to KPI requirements
  • Verify and maintain all related documents in a complete and accurate manner
  • Ensure all programs and procedures are being complied with high-quality standard
  • Materials and parts inventory management, place purchasing order for materials and parts in advance of the work schedule
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects including request for quotation/ tender as assigned
  • Receive escalated complaints and resolve difficult problems. 
  • May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives. 
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems. 
  • Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Utilize available systems to manage work orders and track completion. 
  • Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner. 
  • Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations. 
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. 
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. 
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies. 
  • Other duties may be assigned.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Higher Diploma or above in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Building Services Engineering or relevant disciplines 
  • Minimum of 5 years' maintenance experience in Maintenance Engineering / Building Services within the banking or financial services industry is a must
  • Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred. 
  • In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required. 
  • Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information. 
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. 
  • Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset. 
  • Good team player with good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Cantonese (Spoken and written) is a must. Good command of both written and spoken English.
