Description
As an Assistant Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:
Responsible for daily accounting tasks like AR/AP and general ledger.
Performing account reconciliations
Supporting the finance team in managing, processing and troubleshooting various accounts and transactions
Processing invoices and following up on payment
Assisting in budget preparation
Participating in annual audits
Maintaining confidentiality and adherence to financial policies and procedures
Collaborating with team members to achieve financial objectives
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
An educational background in Accounting or Finance
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software
Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude
A detail-oriented and organized approach to work
Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation
