Description

As an Assistant Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for daily accounting tasks like AR/AP and general ledger.
• Performing account reconciliations
• Supporting the finance team in managing, processing and troubleshooting various accounts and transactions
• Processing invoices and following up on payment
• Assisting in budget preparation
• Participating in annual audits
• Maintaining confidentiality and adherence to financial policies and procedures
• Collaborating with team members to achieve financial objectives

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• An educational background in Accounting or Finance
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software
• Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude
• A detail-oriented and organized approach to work
• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation
