Assistant Manager

Finance Office - Campus Management Section

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist Head of Campus Management Section to manage the campus management team to provide professional facilities management services, including but not limited to cleaning, security, landscaping, maintenance, event support, and administrative tasks;
  • Manage and negotiate relationships with internal & external stakeholders;
  • Oversee outsourced service providers for various facilities management services, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and budgetary requirements;
  • Aid in developing policies and procedures for facilities management and related services, like catering services, college vehicles & transportation services and staff quarters etc.;
  • Provide facilities management and general administrative related support and participation in relevant meetings, College activities and events as required.;
  • Ensure efficient operation of the Campus Management Section through comprehensive administrative support, including document preparation and meeting logistics.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Facilities management, Property Management or equivalent in administrative management aspect;
  • Professional certifications in Facilities Management, such as MRICS, MCIH, PMP, or HKIH preferred;
  • Minimum 8 years in facilities management, ideally in educational institutions, property development, or service provision;
  • Strong strategic and operational approach; international-standard experience in managing Grade A commercial properties;
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, adaptability, highly independent and motivated;
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua required;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively under pressure.
